Saint Basil will again be having their fair trade sale this year. In addition to a variety of vendors, there will be a raffle basket to benefit Christians in the Holy Land. This will be a great opportunity to do some fair trade Christmas shopping.
The Ohio Fair Trade Teach-In & Expo returns to John Carroll. This will be a day of seminars, and shopping. Without a doubt, it is the finest regional fair trade event in the country. This is a must attend event for anyone in Ohio interested in justice for the Global South.
The Church of the Resurrection holds their market every other year, and it will once again be held in 2018. It is a fun event with a lot of great fair trade vendors, and will be held over two days with hours of 10:00 to 2:00 each day.

The Fair Trade Federation Conference is an annual gathering that offers fair traders from across the country a chance to connect, share, and learn more about the business of fair trade. This year, the Conference will be held in Westminster, Colorado (outside of Denver). Go to the Fair Trade Federation website to learn more including costs.
The February meeting will be at One World Shop in Rocky River. One World Shop is a non-profit dedicated to fair trade that got its start in 1979. Besides learning about this wonderful company, we will discuss matters relevant to fair trade in Ohio and plan for future meetings.
IRTF’s 18th Annual Social Justice Teach-In is a great opportunity for people of all ages to gain the information and practical skills to work for peace, economic justice, and human rights! This annual event attracts 700+ participants, many from area high schools and colleges. The Teach-In provides participants with information, practical skills, and resources to support justice and human rights programming at their schools, congregations, or civic groups.
Choose from 25+ workshops on local and global justice issues including fairtrade. Get skills training to work for social change! Registration begins at 10:00 with the program starting at 11:00. Free for students. We request a $10 registration fee for others.
