Forest Hill Presbyterian Church has been hosting a fair trade event for the past ten years. New vendors have been added. This is a perfect opportunity to grab those last minute gifts that say you care about justice, uniqueness, and craftsmanship. Located in Cleveland Heights, it’s an easy drive from almost anywhere
Saint Mark will hold it’s annual fair trade sale again this year with a multitude of vendors. This is always a fun event which gives everyone an opportunity to get great gifts for Christmas. This event is over two days (4:00 to 6:00 PM on Saturday and 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday)
Saint Basil will again be having their fair trade sale this year. In addition to a variety of vendors, there will be a raffle basket to benefit Christians in the Holy Land. This will be a great opportunity to do some fair trade Christmas shopping.
Stop by Saint Noel for the bi-annual fair trade sale. The event starts at 4:00 on Saturday for a few hours and then continues all Sunday morning ending at 1:00. We hope to see a lot of east side fair trade shoppers there.
Join fellow west siders at this two day annual fair trade sale. There will be a large variety of vendor displaying some great gifts and personal items. It will be held on Saturday from 3:00 to 6:00 and Sunday from 8:00 to 2:00.
Join us at Houlihan’s in Westlake for our next Network meeting. This will be hosted by Rachel Jewell of Threads Worldwide. The mission of Threads Worldwide is to “create life-changing work for women around the world through the fair trade of artisan jewelry.” Learn more about this great company and how Rachel got started in the movement while enjoying time with fellow members of the Northeast Ohio fair trade network.
The Ohio Fair Trade Teach-In & Expo returns to John Carroll. This will be a day of seminars, break out sessions and shopping. This is a must attend event for anyone in Ohio interested in justice for the Global South.
Join us for this two day event which begins at 11:00 AM on Saturday until 5:00 PM and then continues on Sunday beginning at 9:45 AM and going to 2:00 PM in the the afternoon. St. Rita has hosted this event many times and it’s a fun time.
