Fair Trade Month is a month-long effort to promote Fair Trade celebrated in October.  Here are some ways you can celebrate Fair Trade month.

1. Buy Fair Trade.  Look for Fair Trade logos on products as you shop or visit Ohio Fair Trade stores this October.

2. Give Fair Trade.  As holidays approach consider giving gifts that empower small farmers and producers.  Check out Equal Exchange’s tips to Fair Trade Your Halloween.  Visit Ohio Fair Trade stores or Fair Trade events for your holiday shopping.

3. “Like” Fair Trade.  “Like” The Ohio Fair Trade Network, the Fair Trade Federation, the World Fair Trade Organization, the Fair World Project and other Fair Trade organizations on Facebook to stay updated on Fair Trade news.

4.  Join a Fair Trade campaign. Check out our list of Fair Trade campaigns.

5. Attend the Ohio Fair Trade Expo on Saturday October 25th from 9am-4pm at John Carroll University Dolan Center for Science and Technology.  More information can be found here.
